Skating Season is Starting Again

I'm down to just one figure skater in my house now (my youngest daughter is going to focus on dance for a while) and had to take my oldest daughter to class tonight after about 6 weeks off.

She did pretty well despite having time off and breaking in a different pair of skates (she outgrew her other ones). Unfortunately, she didn't get to have practice ice afterwards. That was the original plan but the ice was a little soft (combination of the heat and them needing to do some last-second maintenance) and we decided to wait until the ice is a little better. She starts with her private coach next week anyway.

Kwik Trip Kitchen Cravings Tailgater Pizza

  When my wife and I decided on pizza for dinner last night, I stopped at Kwik Trip with the intention of just buying a cheap, frozen, cheese pizza for our daughters since we already had another pizza in our freezer. However, as I was walking up to the checkout counter, this particular pizza caught my eye and, even though I wasn't crazy about spending $8.99 when I already had another option at home, I was intrigued enough to make the purchase anyway. We ended up making the pizza in the oven when I got home. After trying it, I have to say it is one of my favorites. Review: I came across Abigail on Peacock a few days ago and, while I was concerned the trailer gave away too much of the movie for me to be surprised by it, I gave it a chance last night.
