Took advantage of one last bright and sunny day before we get bad weather later this week and got a walk in at lunch. Here are some of my photos.

Synopsis:  During a medical exam following a car accident, doctors determine a 4th-grader ( Jennette McCurdy ) has been sexually molested. She eventually gives SVU detectives a name and other victims come forward, but evidence emerges pointing to false accusations being made. Review: It's extremely cold outside today so I find myself sitting on the couch watching re-runs of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit with my wife. This one came on a little while ago and impacted me a lot more than expected. On the surface, there isn't really much about this episode that sets it apart from others in the series. However, Jennette McCurdy's performance really stands out. Her fear of naming the man who abused her seemed very real and I couldn't help but feel heartbroken as they tried to navigate through that fear to get the truth. I thought the episode had a nice surprise twist involving the man she does eventually accuse ( Daniel Hugh Kelly ), especially since the case, at least...

Kwik Trip Kitchen Cravings Tailgater Pizza

  When my wife and I decided on pizza for dinner last night, I stopped at Kwik Trip with the intention of just buying a cheap, frozen, cheese pizza for our daughters since we already had another pizza in our freezer. However, as I was walking up to the checkout counter, this particular pizza caught my eye and, even though I wasn't crazy about spending $8.99 when I already had another option at home, I was intrigued enough to make the purchase anyway. We ended up making the pizza in the oven when I got home. After trying it, I have to say it is one of my favorites. One of the things, in particular, that really stood out for me when it came to this pizza was the toppings. The combination of sausage and cheese curds was both unique and delicious, especially since the curds were fresh enough to still squeak when we were eating them. Trail Camera Photos (9/26/2026-9/27/2026)

I haven't had my trail camera out as much as I would prefer but decided to put it out last night after finding a half-eaten rabbit and deciding to see if I could figure out what ate it. It wasn't overly active last night but I discovered our raccoons are back. I don't know if they are the rabbit-killing culprits, but they certainly seemed to like the apples under the tree, and one was eying the bird feeder I have hung from an old swing set.
